Pragati Development Consulting Services Limited (PDCSL) has been engaged by an UN Agency to provide Technical financial and human resource support to various programmes and operation in Gujarat. In this regard, PDCSL invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of State Consultant- ODF-Sustainability & Solid and Liquid Resource Management (SLRM) under SBM-G.

The consultant will have her/his duty station at Gandhinagar (Gujarat).

Qualification and Experience:

•Post graduate degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or Environment Science with at least five years’ professional experience in water supply and sanitation programmes

•Understanding and experience of planning and managing solid and liquid resource management

•Understanding of government structures, and processes preferably in Gujarat within Water, Sanitation, Rural Development and WASMO etc.

•Familiarity with the GoI flagship programmes in WASH sector ; SBM, NRDWP, SSA, NHM, ICDS in addition to state programme such as Nirmal Bharat

•Good analytical, communication skills, coordination and documentation skills.

•Capacity building/training and project monitoring skills.

• Fluency in English with ability to read and speak Gujarati

Contract Duration and Appointment: The Contract will be till 30th June 2018 from the date of recruitment and signing the Contract. The consultant will be based at Gandhinagar (Gujarat). The professional fee will be based according to Qualification & Experience and additional support costs for travel, DSA, communications, insurance and contingencies.
